Peek behind the camera and into our set
KDProduction is a video and media organization founded by Vanessa Kuhlor and Edgar Diaz. Both current students at Engineering Science University Magnet School who are enrolled in the Digital Media and Filming Class. All content produced by KDProduction was originally shot and edited by Vanessa and Edgar.
Edgar Diaz (11th Grade)
Edgar Diaz is a student at the Engineering & Science University Magnet School in Connecticut where he maintains a 3.8 GPA. He has also taken psychology and philosophy classes at Connecticut State University. Additionally, he has won three city-wide art contests. He was also a part of Yale Sprout and Yale Splash, received Science Fair Honorable Mention, is a part of Kid Builds Architect Program, and is a FRC and FTC member.
Edgar believes that leadership is being able to take demand in any situation without double thinking or second guessing yourself. Leadership is having a reliable amount of self-efficacy to believe in someone to command respect in order to get a situation dealt with.
Vanessa Kuhlor (10th Grade)
Vanessa Kuhlor is a sophomore at Engineering & Science University Magnet High School in Hamden, CT. She has received multiple awards and is a part of various organizations such as: Photographer & Press Member of Electric Run 2013, Small Boutique Fashion Week New York Photographer, CT Student Film Festival; 2 Nominations for the 90 Second Video Challenges in Transformations and Diversity categories, 2013 Shining Star Award For Outstanding Performance & Dedication to ESUMS School, Team Leader Award for the 2013 CT Student EXPO, Director’s Award for the 2013 CT Student EXPO, Her Campus High School Ambassador, March of Dimes Walk America Fundraiser & Walk Volunteer, Trail of Terror Scare Actor Volunteer, Yale Sprouts Alumni, National Society of High School Scholars Member, Skills 21 Press Team,DoSomething.Org Member, and the Group Leader and Co-Founder of the organization Purus Foods, (www.purusfoods.org).
Both Edgar and Vanessa are on the National Teen Council Committee.
